I have a DSM IC. I have been thinking about doing watercooled since I have limited room in the CSXT. I have had a water cooled computer for several years and it seems to me that doing this for an IC wouldn't be very difficult.
What I would do is redo the end tanks and put 2" or 2.5" inlet/outlets on it. The endtanks would be tapered.
Then I would use some sort of lexan and epoxy (or use some sort of RTV) it to the front and back of the IC but I would screw in some fittings to use .5" OD vinal tubing. The water inlets would be on different sides and on different corners of the IC.
Next I would get a radiator like this:

to hook up the tubing to.
I would then hook it up to this pump: http://www.dangerdenstore.com/produc...&cat=25&page=1
I have had the lower model of this pump on my computer for over a year now with out failure, and it has been running the entire time with out me turning it off. I know its a good pump.
I would make some sort of reservoir, not sure what kind of material I would use though.
What I figure is that with as small as the IC is I could have it in the engine bay just above the tranny. The actual IC plumbing would be very short because it owuld only have to travel just over a foot from the turbo to the intlet and maybe a foot from the outlet to the intake.
Here is a really crappy drawing of my design. What do you think? Would you slap me and call me crazy? Or would you slap me and call my brilliant?
