the one on Ebay appears to have NO faceplate. I can get the electronics repaired easier than making a face plate.

are you sure? i see the eq on top then the tuner box and then the head unit on the bottom.

I think he means its missing the clear plastic piece that covers the display.

The pic is so fuzzy, I really can't see. The plastic had printing on it. The one photo I have seen elsewhere had silver buttons.
I think I have a lead on a cosmetically good unit. It even has a good "provenance". ;)
