What a disappointment in four runs I blew the TB hose four times. I need to work on the hoses, I was just to desperate after installing the new intercooler. Only on one run it partially blew, I'm guessing cause it only boosted to ~9-10psi and I managed to get this results:
RT 1.232
60 FT 2.584
trap Speed 72.0
ET 10.28
I know I could off done so much better. The other thing is that I couldn't get the tires to hook. I guess I need to practice. I have a 523 with 3.77 ratio. I though about taking off in second, I don't know. Any advice?

Woah, get some T-bolts and practice those launches! These cars are very capable of hooking, despite their torquey behavior. What turbo do you have on and waht car is this in?

Here are my specs:
86 TII converted SC
Stock short block
G head with +1mm valves
523 tranny with 3.77 gears
2.5 exhaust with ported ex manifold
two piece intake with 52mm TB
spearco monster intercooler
stock T3 garrett

Until I can get me some slicks, I'll be practicing my lunch by slipping the clutch a little. I'm going back to the track this weekend.

Not bad, at least your getting to run. I have 2 strikes, track is under water and the van is in pieces. :(

Why is it under water? Is there alot of snow melting, and spring rain.

if it helps you any..... my 90 shadow es 2.5 turbo 5 speed 523? stock trans... 12 psi, conquest intercooler no cat or muffler stock piping.. 2.1 60 foot.. 14.8 @ like 93??-95? mph... launching at 4500 rpms (granted im assuminmg your track is prepped good)... 2.1 on a regualr street tire all season crap aint bad for not having sticky tires and not launching under boost
my 89 c/s was consistant 2.0-2.1 60 foots on fleet farm tires
first 14 second pass was a 14.5 at 95 at 14 psi stock t2 cooler, stock exhaust munis the cat with a turbo muffler, launching again at 4500

2.0 60 ran 13.63 at 105-107 been a few years now) dual staged boost at 12/22 no cat or muffler stock piping cut off to run out the side...

87 lebaron gts all stock with 2.5 exhaust 12 psi non intercooled did 2.0 on all seasons only went 15.5 in that car still not bad for a $200 car

... get that 60 foot down as low as you can.. i dont know 1/8th mile stuff but i know pullin a 2.5 60 down to a 2.0-.2.2 will cut your e/t down by 5-8 tenths.. the faster you can get movinmg the faster you will be at the top end... .. just practice your lanches unell you figure out what works for you and your car.. rember big burnouts aint needed on street tires.... if you can avoid the burnout box do it.. if you cant just give them a good spin to clean them off.. dont need lots ooo smoke just ned clean tires.... also if you can line up behind a fat tired drag car..... works good to hook up using there hot tire marks for traction

Lots and lots of rain, we were one day shy of breaking the record. I was ready to start building an ark :banghead:

just fyi, ive never heard of anyone liking launching in 2nd better than actually hooking first. work on traction, dont bother launching in 2nd. theres lots of weight jacking and swaybar preload info floating around to help you get 'free' traction.

yup.. if i rember right shimming the left side of the sway bar helps and moving the battery to the right side... and lose weight on the back of the car
