Walbro 255 in-line pump

I am converting my Rampage to turbo. can anyone verfiy if a Walbro 225 in-line pump will work on its own or do I still need an in tank pump also. I plan to mount this pump on the frame rail as close as possible to the tank.

You're going to need an intank pump as well. Why not just get a 255 intank pump?

You might be able to get away with mounting the pump lower than the tank but then it will drag along the road. If you want to use a stock intank pump and the inline unit, that will work fine.
