How the heck do I get this thing apart???

SMEC harness...the part that actually plugs into the computer. How do I get the pins out?

ahh been there done that, know your pain. Look at the end of the plug that the smec fits into. You'll see the red plastic locks in there. I find the small blade on my swiss army knife works perfect for this. Now take the tip and pry the red pieces up just a bit, then put the blade between the red piece and the screw/bolt in the center and twist it prying the red piece out of the plug. It'll go POP! and pop right out. once these are out a small straightslot screwdriver can fit down there and pry up the locking tab and then the pin pulls out.

One more thing...have you ever seen a wiring harness without a bulkhead connector? 88 CSX-t? This sucks.
