ok if i read corectaly the fast burn head flows 10 % more air than the swirl head. but the swirl head make about 10% more tq. whitch heaqd would be better on a daytona a swirl or fastburn ?

Is this a 2.2L or 2.5L daytona? If 2.2L I would go swirl for best all around power. While the 2.5L and swirl makes great torque for the heavier Daytona, I think the g-head is better since you will be less prone to detination.

If you change heads from what you are currently at, you will need to recalibrate the computer to fix the 'quite different' timing curves.

ok thanks alot i think ill just stick whit the swirl head on my car then
its a 2.5

The swirl head (782 casting) is the fast burn. The G or bathtub (287 & 445) casting is the other type of 8V head.

If its mostly street driven, stick with the swirl, :D

Swirl head is fast burn head.

Either head is fine, but you absoutely must have the correct calibration for the head, or else it's going to run very bad.

You can kill your engine if you use the incorrect calibration.

ok then i didnt read coprectaly well anways i am just gona keep the swirl head
