Well,since no one seems to want to talk on here I though I would share some pics of my motor I took the other day. What do you guys think......

LMAO,yup get your spray cans out Simon. That is my wrinkle red that I did myself that is almost identical to factory.

And of course its a REAL Shelby cover:thumb:

once painted, did you sand the paint off of the lettering? if not how did you get the letters looking nicely cut like that?

Yes,I sanded them off after I painted it. That particular Shelby cover had been sanded off a few times already so the letters are not very high anymore:mad:

Jackson you get 10/10 from me. I do not recall ever seeing a TIII detailed as well. Very nice work.

Awwwwwwwwww, poor thing. Tell you what, I'll be a nice guy and take those damaged Shelby covers from you. How can you even use those knowing that there damaged goods? :eyebrows:

btw what kind of mods are you doing to this engine? clean resto or race engine?

Well,this one will be a "mild" motor. It should be a little more show than go,im gonna hate to even drive this thing. Anyhow,for mods this one has fresh rebuild of course,Cometic/ARPs,Ti retainers,"cleaned up" runners and a 5 angle valve job,3bar goodies,cal,big front mount,and a 50 trim hybrid.

Simon,buddy,I bet you would like that cover wouldnt you.....Well you would have to pry it out of my cold,dead fingers:D

Everyone else,thanks for the kind words,I will post more as the car comes together.

ohhhh pretty... where did you get the boots on the trannys shifter arms?

also i need the address where the drivetrain is located at, umm its for a classified reasons:evil:

Ya,your right,they are in my green Iroc! Ordered them last year an couldnt just let them sit on the shelf you know. Not to worry tho,new set comming by the middle of the week:D

Oh,and moparfwdsleeper,I can give you my shop address but there might be a sniper awaiting your arrival on the roof. I heard he likes to use a 50 cal:eyebrows:

That's a nice looking engine and trans. :thumb:

If you need a valve cover with taller letters on it let me know and I'll trade you, the one I got needs to be painted, but at least it doesn't have some chick's name on it so I think it's a fair trade ;)
