View Full Version : Engine cutting out at cruise speed??

Well I was driving home last night in the 89 GTC I just picked up a week ago. Its a 2.5 turbo car. While I was cruising above 65 it was cutting out intermittently and when it woudl cut out the tach would bounce. Any ideas?

Joe, replace the HEP... it's intermittant. I forgot to throw one on there and the original one isn't happy.

Yeah I will try and find one from a donor vehicle..Darn thing almost stranded me only minutes from home.. I've got AAA, but I would probably have to wait a few hours in that event.
