im debating on putting a manual rack in but i dont want to lose the quick ratio compared to the NA Lbody's.....wonder how hard it is to put a neon manual rack in....

I've tried a manual rack (22:1) in my Omni before. It sucked! Parallel parking and other slow speed maneuvers were a pain. Keep the power steering.

thanks for the advice guys..Ill get a brand new pump and lines from Napa.... Whats the easiest way to flush out the rack???

leave the return hose off and dump it into a bucket
keep pouring in clean fluid til it comes out clean!
