I have an 85 GLH-T t2 swapped. I have seemed to have developed a smoking problem from the PCV port on the valve cover. Gotten worse in teh last couple of months. I have a hose venting under the car but if theres a problem id like to fix it, i thought about a catch can but it seems like that wouldnt be enuff. This thing leaves clouds, especially when boosting. And help would be great.

If it's smoking real bad, you might have worn piston rings.

You might want to pull the valve cover and re-seal the PCV baffle. Use either Mopar Engine RTV or Ultra Black Permatex and let it dry for a few hours before firing the engine back up.

I'm in the "camp" that believes that the PCV system should stay functional (no vent/dump tubes), so you might want to try putting it back to stock and see what happens. If the motor is tight, you won't have any problems.

You need to do a compression test and leak down test, sounds like the rings are tired.
