oil clearance ?

i just want to know what will be a good oil clearance when using the STD size rod and main bearings ? and have anyone used HI-TECH or ever head of them ? i got them from autozone , they are switching over from clevite to these HI-TECH bearings . they say there better , but i never heard of them B4 they do cost like $ 18 more than clevite . i dont know i just wanted to know thanks

Why fix something that is not broke. I dont know how you can get any better then Clevite.

You should be aiming for .0015" to .0025"
