View Full Version : Need advice, SRT4 turbo set up to 95 DOHC

I found a stock SRT4 turbo set up that I would like to transplant to a 95 DOHC. I was trying to put together the list of what I need to snag.
I plan to run no more than 10 LBS. of boost, that way I wouldn't have to swap any internals.

My list so far:
Turbofold
02 housing
WGA
BOV
Intercooler
Fuel pump
Oil pump (Do you think this is necessary?)
Throttle body

I'm not certain what else is SRT4 specific, so I could use some advice. Is there anything else I'm missing?

Thanks,
Guy Douglas

Other things- oiling and cooling the turbo. probably larger injectors, I don't see the oil pump or throttle body as needed. I can't be exact on this one because my buddy hasn't built his yet. He's still in the reading /collecting parts stage.

A map clamp, turbo oil drain in the oil pan. Let me know if WE forget anything too.:thumb:

A grinder, the SRT4 manifold needs grinding, notching to fit the head.

You also need to remove the pan and add an oil drain back.

Aurora plug wires, :eyebrows:

Downpipe, exhaust system-pick up a stock SRT system for cheap.

Fuel pump-not sure what the stockers can supply for pressure and volume.

You also need to run a return line to the tank.

AFPR.

Thanks, Simon.

"Aurora Plug Wires" OK, I can take a subtle hint! I'll get it running first.

you need some sort of engine management. its a 95 so you can use darn near anything. you can even swap to old school TD electronics though megasquirt is prolly easier for a neon due to the neon support.
