Just make sure that your intermeddiate shaft is in good condition. The extra load will cause something to fail.

well on FWD performance it says its a HV pump . is this true or is it just a regular pump ?

I've always use melling pumps myself
The old MP HV pumps aren't needed
Our motors have more then enough oiling
Getting oil back to the pan and controlled in the pan are more of an issue

IIRC, that's the one that I've run in both of the engines I've rebuilt. Just make sure you have the oil restrictor in the block and you'll be golden. 4323808 is the PN on the restrictor from Mopar.

The M118 Is The Stock One For A Turbo Car, Not Sure About N/a. Thats What I Have For My 2.2. As Well Was What I Sold To Wop'r For His 16 Valve

You will be just fine with a Melling 118 pump. I have run them in both 8valvers and TIIIs with no problems ever. That would be about 20 8valvers that I can remember. The 8valvers dont seem to have a problem with the I-shafts like the TIIIs for certain reasons I dont want to get into but for the most part you will be just fine:thumb:

N/A's and turbo's use the same pump.
