I have a 2005 Dodge Ram Hemi with the factory 20" wheels, and I am wanting to get them anodized black or black chromed. Does anyone know a good place to get them done at?

are they polished or chrome?

I think they are polished. From what I have found out so far it might be cheaper just to buy some new black 20's rather than get the stock wheels black.

if they are polished ok, but if they are the chrome clad wheel then its a 20" chrome plastic hubcap glued to a aluminum wheel, you are kinda beat then

I do have some good connections for getting powder coat colors, I might just get them powder coated. I would do it myself, but my oven is only big enough to do 17" wheels.

mpgmike does some powdercoating, mayb he can hook ya up, but for the price to ship those heavy suckers to pa might as well try to find someone locally

Again check and make sure that they are the polished and not the chrome-clad. The powercoating would melt on the plastic cladding.

when i inspected one it sure looked like a chrome plastic cover.

yea they could have been either or from the factory. You can tell it easily put your hand around the inside of the spoke and feel the lip.

Well I decided to not mess with the factory wheels and just get some new black wheels. I ended up buying these tonight. I'll post some pics when they come in and I get them put on. Thanks for the info guys!!

You guys are right! I got the wheels pulled of and was looking at them and it is just a plastic chrome cover that is on the wheel. I was so disapointed when I saw that. I still like them though, I think I am going to get some wheel adaptors and put them on my 78 Ramcharger. Anyways here is a pick of the new wheels on the Ram.

Looks good, I like that they still have the polished lip, All black is to much next to black tires and a black vehicle.

They do look good. You can def tell they're plastic by tapping on them too if you need to check on some later.
