'88 shadow that I parted had one bad lobe on cam, roller on rocker seized up too, looks like a slider I had like that. Oil in it was really black, will have to pull the rest of the motor apart to see what it looks like.

Shitty, oh well, good time to check bearings and replace the oil pump. :D

Finally got it apart and found it in better shape than I figured it would be in, there was a very small amount of debrits on the pick-up screen, crank journals are in very good condition and the cylinder bores look good as well. Blown headgasket, (between 1 and 2) I think this was rebuilt cause there are numbers stamped on the rods. Also is .75 on the center of the piston domes? So I think the cam damage is from the roller on the arm seizing.

The .75 is the piston indicated the size over stock. In this case .75mm or (I'm pretty sure) 0.030 " over bore. Looks like it's been rebuilt.

Thanks, thats what I figured. Crank looks too nice for 160k on the odo and the very nasty oil in it and the overall poor condition of the rest of the car.

Ooops, my bad. should of said "on the top of" they look like what should be in a block with an '87 date on it. Suppose I'll need to mic the crank to see if (or how much) its been cut.
