I heard some one say that they drilled and tapped there intake for vaccum ports. Dose any one have any pics? I am going to be redoing my vaccum lines and I thought this would be a good way to get direct vaccum.

maybe they were talking about drilling the hole to the IAT sensor. the turbo 2 cars came with a IAT, but the turbo 1 cars did not. They also might have added a vac block where the IAT sensor would go and put the IAT in the normal vac port. I know i used to have a good pic of this from my setup, but its on my computer at home.

Way easier and same performance to just use a vacuum block.

I tapped the intake manifold for vacuum sources. I did it because I wanted to clean up my vacuum lines. The vacuum block makes things look worst.

Nevermind the wiring mess, picture is a few years old. It was cleaned up, along with a FFV fuel rail.

Yes its a one piece. I believe I went with 1/4in NPT. I used whatever size the vacuum block used.
