In '85 I'd guess either a Chrysler LeBaron or Dodge 600, or was it 400?

600. In 1984 is when it got switched over. 82-83 you got the 400 vert. Quite rare too.

No in that year, the lebaron was the same as a 600. The daytona was always a separate body style from the lebaron. It was the G body, laser, daytona.

I have some old service manuals at work. I was hoping for the actual vin, not your decoded version. My guess is you have a 600 rag top. but that's just a guess at his point.

Just a quick FYI, the Dodge 600 started in 1985 and was an E body (elongated K), however, the convertible remained on the Super K chassis like the LeBarons. The Dodge was sometimes sold as a more performance oriented car than the LeBaron. If you see a K body convertible with the 3rd brake light, it is most likely an 86 as that was the first year for them. From what I have learned, the 83 and 86 convertible Ks seem to be different from the 84-85 models. 83 have no rear quarter windows and 86 has different front and rear than the 85s.

it's the dodge counterpart to my chrysler lebaron vert it sounds like. and yeah, the EEK section can answer all your questions.

Another good source of info is the Standard Book of American Cars, 1976 to 1999. It is divided by model and years and has pictures of most models, which is how I first figured out all the different LeBarons.
