I am interested in putting one in a SBEC I have laying around. Who has done one and are there any clearance issues?

90' should be an SBEC, and if indeed it is, just about any type should fit.

Thanks!
I read somewhere there may be some clearance issues. Know anything about that?

There are clearance issues with the SMECs for sure, but the SBEC is not too bad. I have a standard socket in my SBEC, and it seems to fit just fine still. If you get a nice low profile ZIF socket, I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

So this should work fine? http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail?Ref=9676&Row=340444&Site=US
This one is not low profile, but is more durable? http://www.moates.net/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=44

I haven't tried one personally, but if it were me that is the one I would choose.
