I decided to take the head off of a junkyard engine because of a suspected blown head gasket. It did look like the #1 cylinder had an issue with the head gasket between the front water jacket and the cylinder. While I had the head off I wanted to check the cylinder bore on all 4 to see what I was dealing with. Hear is a scan of the worksheet I made up. Can someone send me the spec's for this engine? It's a 1989 2.5l T1 from a Shadow ES. I don't have a book for the motor or the car yet. Thanks.

It looks like you have standard bore engine.

What specs are you looking for exactly?

What gkcooper sent. THANKS!!!:thumb:

Now if someone could point me to the torque spec's for the bolts. I have a feeling it might be in the same location. However, I couldn't even find the engine spec's and I looked for a couple of hours. I typed in a search for 2.2 and 2.5 engine spec's. It gave me the Daytona info page.

Thanks again.

Head bolts are 45, 65 ft/lbs then a 1/4 turn. If during the 1/4 turn you exceed 90 ftr/lbs, replace the bolt. You should be using new bolts anyway.
