I know there are several people waiting for 782 heads, and I will have them finished soon! I had already started on this 287 head a while ago, so I decided not to put it off any longer. I have my own flow bench, so I can do back-to-back testing and still take my time. My bench does not read as high as many of the others, but it is very accurate, so judge by the increase, not the "Big Number".

This head will be assembled and ready to bolt on once buyer chooses springs.
Included are:

Ported and polished 287 Bathtub "G" Head
Mopar Performance Intake Valves (std)
FWD Performance +1mm Stainless Exhaust Valves
- back cut and swirl polished
'89 TBI Roller Cam (round tooth gear for common block engines)
Roller followers
Drilled for larger head bolts
Surface Cut .007" to ensure a good head gasket surface
New mopar valve seals
Mopar Performance Hardened Valve Locks
Your choice of valve springs
- MP 061 springs +$78
- Heavy Duty +$15
- Stock turbo +$0

This head was perfectly straight and no cracks. After all porting was complete, I had the head jet washed twice to make sure all the oil and coolant passages were clean. This head is in excellent condition and doesn't even have cracks between the valves!

Looks like something's up with your bench. G head outflows a swirl by 20cfm. I have backed this up on my bench (a Superflow and not a home built version, and 2 other Superflow benches.)

My bench did show 20 CFM more on the exhaust side, but I assume you are talking about the intake side. There are little things that might have caused some of the change, like temperature, pressure, and humidity.
There is no use arguing about this, though, because just like dynos, every flow bench is different.
My bench may obviously flow different than a superflow, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I have flowed tons of stock swirl heads and neon DOHC heads and they have all been almost identical. That is not to mention the thousands of small and big block chrysler heads that have been flowed on this bench with no inconsistency.

No... but a flowbench, just like a dyno... can have a margin of error based on a %. So, say a zz4 engine makes 340hp on a dyno, and a big block engine makes 720hp on our shop dyno. We take both engines to another shop and the ZZ4 makes 305hp, but the big block makes 518hp. 10% difference on the ZZ4, but alot more on the bg block telling me somthing may be wrong elsewhere.

Possibly, your 169cfm could be higher.

BTW... are you going to be selling heads, or was this a one time deal?

I get what you are saying, and that may very well be true.
There has been some misconception, mainly on turbododge.com, about what I am doing. I'm porting these heads in my spare time. Obviously I'm not making much money on them, and I'm doing it mainly to help out the TDers and TMers who can't afford big kick---- LWP or menegon, or whoever else heads. It's just a hobby, so I don't see the sense in charging an incredible amount for it. And thats also something to keep in mind. Several people are wanting me to do heads for them, and I will gladly help anyone in need, but I can only do this as my free time allows, so I can't guarantee a positive turn-around time. There is a pretty good list of people going right now, so those of you who are interested, I would suggest contacting me now and not waiting until you need a head within a few weeks, because it probably won't happen. This was not the first G head I have ever ported, but it was the first that I have sold. All of my other work that I have done for TDers has been 782 heads, and that is what seems to be the most popular. After this head sold, though, a few people have requested that I do more of them, so I will see how that goes.
Wallace suggested on turbododge.com that I become a vendor. However, this is not my business, and I am not vending these heads, I'm just trying to help out.

Well selling parts or cars is much different then selling ported heads or services. We have vendors who pay money to have the right to sell stuff like this. We do have options available to DIYers and other small times. I would be VERY happy to answer any questions.
