crab info needed..

anyone know the offset for 15 X 6 crabs that would have come off an '87 Daytona Shelby Z?

if they are originally from a daytona they would be 6.5 inches wide and i believe the backspacing for all the oem 15s was 40mm.

Shadows came with the 15x6's.. Daytona's with 15x6.5's

as for the offsets, I remember someone a while back saying that there was a 38mm and 40mm difference between the 6 wide vs 6.5?

yeah but wasnt that only on the early daytona's like '85 and '86 where the width was 6.5? on '87s wasnt the width 6"? I think I read that on the dempsey site....I think?

I've had a set of gold crabs from a 86 C/S and the ones I have now from a 88 Day Shel Z and their identical other than color..

I measured the back spacing on my 6.5 crab wheels a couple months ago. They're 40mm.

on a Rampage with 6.5 crabs wearing 205 50 15 falken azenis you can bearly get you index finger between the tire and leif spring.. and thats with your finger sideways.. fingerprint on the tire and fingernail on the leif spring..
