Two Quick Questions
1.) Can you put a 16V head on a traditional common block 2.5 n/a motor.
2.) Does the head look significantly different appearance wise ?

16V Neons have a similar setup to the lotus heads.
an n/a hybrid motor is a lot of work compared to an n/a 2.4 swap i would venture. n/a 2.4s can be plenty badass and you'll have a lot more experience to fall back on in the community with proven mods and stuff.

What is involved with just swapping the 2.0/2.4 into a TD?

Yes, and it would be a nice swap but you'd probably want to use some higher compression pistons to get more benefit out of the swap.

Both of you check out the 16 valve conversion section, lots of info and whats involved in the swap.
