I backtracked and found an old thread of mine from a couple years back. Here is how the following attached chart reads:

The way the chart reads is..... 1305 shelby daytonas were built. Of the 1305 51.1 percent were federal emmisions-automatic cars, which equals 667 cars. 2.6 percent of the 1305 were california emmisioned cars for 34 automatics. 1.1 percent of the 1305 are high altitude emmision cars (like denver colorado) which equals 14 cars. If you want to break down the vnt's.... 41.1 percent federal equals 536, 2.8 percent california equals 37 and 1.3 pecent equals 17.

So 667+34+14+536+37+17=1305

From these numbers, I had an additional site (no longer valid) stating that 589 VNT's were produced out of that 1305 Daytona Shelby total, so that leaves 716 base 2.5 T1 Daytona Shelby's out of that bunch. I'm still looking for color breakdown though.

Here is an attached file so you can zoom in since the writing is so small.

I will post the 1991 broadcast sheet this weekend, I'm going to retype it in an Excel format. It is in a .pdf format currently and is rather hard to read.

Again, I do not have the color breakdowns, but if anyone does that'd be great!

Hey Billy the color breakdowns on the 91s should be in that information I sent you, give it another look.

[QUOTE=DC Turismo;116794]I backtracked and found an old thread of mine from a couple years back. Here is how the following attached chart reads:

From that same report (1990 production) you should be able to see that about 36 non-shelby VNT's were built (base cars => CS AGS).

Does anyone know how many '91 Daytona Shelby's were built with the 2.5T1 and 5 speed? I'm curious to see how "rare" my newly aquired Daytona is. Mine also is red with red leather interior and overhead console with temp/compass display. Pretty nice car.

Scott
I never did get to take another look at it (I'm going to look at the file in my Hotmail email tonight though)

You don't have the color breakdowns for 90 do you?

Red w/ Black Leather interior

No, I don't have any info on the 90s except one sheet that gives total production numbers by model & drivetrain.

Do you still want that black Daytona tonneau cover?

I have a 90 Daytona C\S AGS (T4); supposedly there were only 21 produced that year. Anyone else here have one of these as well? If so I would like to see some pics so I can see where mine is missing decals (It was repainted).

No there were 36 AGS cars built in 1990. I have an 89 C/S AGS. The 89s and 90s only had the nose decal, the intercooled turbo (89) or intercooled VNT (90) decals on the hood bulge, C/S emblems on each fender, and then base Dodge and Daytona emblems under the taillights.

Thanks. That means I only have to pickup the nose decal and the VNT decal. There were no ground effects on the AGS right?

No ground effects, just the rear spoiler and the bulge hood. Good luck finding those decals, I believe they are NS1, especially if you need them in maroon/red.

Anyone know the breakdown for '91 AGS Daytona's? (t1, 568) It's rumoured to be less than 150 cars, but nobody seems to know for certain.

Do you happen to know the color the decals were for a black car? And what does the one on the nose say (so I know if I find one)? Thanks for all the help, it's hard finding this stuff out, especially since the car has changed hands so much over the years.

You can order the decals from Dave at Positive Impressions. www.unleashedbyshelby.com

He can fix you up with any decal in any color.

Or you can just have a vinyl place make them for you. If you can get a picture and some dimensions I could ask the guy who is making the decals for my charger if he can do it.
