Lut Nut Type?

does anyone know if the lugnuts for a 14 in steel rim are different from then ones on a 15 in aluminum wheel? I'm switching the snowflakes on my spirit out for some winter tires on 14in steelies and can't remember if the taper on the lug nuts for the steelies is different than then 15in lugs.

dont ever use the steel wheel lug nuts on an aluminum wheel. you need the taper to be larger in diameter (chrome cap nuts) if you try using plain old steel wheel nuts, they will bury themselves into the aluminum, you'll never get them back off.
