I am running a T2 computer w/ a grainger now. If you pay close attention to the 88 T1 & T2 wastegate Solenoid you will notice they are different. (from the dodge garage) T2 has Vac/wastegate teed at bottom w/ bleed at top and T1 has wastegate & bleed teed at the top and nothing at the bottom.

The solenoid next to it is the same as the T1 but with a vac line on the bottom. (Just look at the diagrams in the dodge garage) Anybody else notice this? Is that why the SMEC wouldn't control the boost?

You are set-up for a mitsubishi turbo... You will need to follow the TI diagrahm unless you now have a TII cal. The mitsu set-up constantly bleeds and closes to open the wastegate. The garret opens to control the wastegate..

Yes, that's probably why the T2 cal won't control the boost. When you run the cal I made for you, use the T1 setup. The cal's based on the T1 code...

Will I need to use a 89 Solenoid since the 88 & 89 Solenoids for T1's are different also?

I don't think so. The '88 T1 uses the same WG control as the '89 (which your cal is based on), and the different solenoids are electrically compatible, so I don't see a reason to upgrade to the '89 solenoids. You can if you wish, though...

I would rather not...unless I had too.
