offset for 18x8 wheels on a spirit?

A buddy of mine has a set of wheels that are 18x8 with an offset of +48. Will these fit on a 1990 spirit? (they do have a 5x100 bolt pattern)

nope
you would need +35offset and w/o coilovers I'm not even sure that would fit

you need +35. I have some 17x8s with +35 and they barely clear.
