I don't even grab them from the yards anymore, some yards want $50. for them and the 'going rate' is less than that:( If we're still into this TD hobby in 10-15 years, we'll be sorry that I (we) let dozens go to the crusher for lack of value... I let 2 turbo SBEC's go last week alone:o

Alan has that one right. I think I've only purchased two computers from the yards in my life. Just too dang expensive and the yards out here have the nerve to charge a "core charge" of $3-5 on top of that.

Core charge for what? The computer is going to get shredded with the car and since the electro-magnet thing wont attract the shreds it ends up in a landfill.
