I have 52lbs injectors on right now on a stock T2 cal. I set it at 30psi (yes I did it right!) Pig rich. Turned it down to 28psi...still rich (going by my Dawes at WOT) Turned it down to 25-26psi...now it is blue & green. Should I turn it down somemore? It still seems a little rich. How low should I go? (all #'s are static w/ vac line unplugged from AFPR)

At this point you might as well put the stockers in & turn the fuel psi up a bit because 52pph injectors @ 25psi = 35pph injectors

Interesting Chart...but this is only temporary. I am breaking in the motor. In a month (give or take a week) I am going to put the header on along with the 3bar at 18psi. Don't want to swap rails (laziness) Don't want the motor to be more of a pig than it already is!

easiest way to cure richness is boost!

I am running 13-14psi which is over stock T2 settings...so more fuel is required/good.

The stock TII injectors can handle 13 or 14 psi no problem with the stock cal.

Breaking in a motor while running rich is a bad idea. The rings aren't going to seat right. In fact, running rich like that will cause your rings to UN-seat if the motor is already broken in.

DOn't break it in with them.

Patrick, While it may be the same as 35#'ers... They supply more fuel per psi of boost than stockers do... SO the 1:1 ratio gain rate allows them to handle more than the stockers could at he same pressure.

Didn't someone do a flow test the 52lb injectors and find that they were more like 59lb? That was back when some folks thought that 4sfed4 was a big fibber about his HP with those?

That would also help to account for the increased flow.

I put 250-300 miles on the T2 injectors until 1 had problems with the car being lean...so I swapped the 52lbs in. She runs fine now I have the pressure turned down.
