Shelby Lancer was produced in 1987. In 1988 and 1989 they were Dodge Lancer Shelby's. Small change in the name but the last two years were dodge cars with a shelby badge, like the Daytona Shelby, and weren't numbered.

Production Numbers for 1990 Lebaron GTC (VNT)

255 Total

132 Convertibles
123 Coupes

Nothing urgent, but this will prove to be a great place to collect info and update it as more is learned.

Not sure if those production numbers include Canadian production units or not. I've yet to see any information on it, but I have seen/know of at least 6 VNT cars in BC, a couple more in alberta, and many TIII Chysler (not Dodge) Daytonas, and a lot more that have been speculated. Seems like a lot to go to one small province with so many states out there.

Don't forget frank... 141 VNT shadows produced. Of those, 30 were comp. package cars. I think the ES VNT Shadow owners would like to know how many of their ES's were produced as well. (111)

I could give some insight on section 1.2.3 regarding "which engine come form the factory on my car"

the 8th digit of the vin is the engine code. I don't know the engine code of the t3 cars.

A= 2.2l turbo 2 and turbo 4
D= 2.2l non- turbo
E= 2.2l turbo 1
G= 2.6l non-turbo
J= 2.5l turbo 1
K= 2.5l non- turbo
3= 3l V6

Maybe this information will help, maybe not. I gave it a shot.

I believe the 2.2 Turbo IV = C not A

I've placed a phone call to Chrysler as of this evening in hopes that I can talk to an executive who can get us production numbers on other vehicles as well, especially the Daytona's after 1989, and perhaps even color breakdowns of all vehicles produced. Keep your fingers crossed, as this is a mission I will not take no from them for an answer!
