Well i have been missing my old neon, which has been stolen. I after that i got a few different cars and trucks. But after it was all said and done, i still miss my new. So i sold off my old project,. To start this. First old project

So i went out looking for a new Neon for a project. It had to be 2 door and dohc. Well i found a 96 shoc that was hit in the front with a bodykit for 900 so i picked it up. Going to do a 2.4 swap.So i got some black interior parts together to switch it all around.

well after trying to find parts to get a 2.4 into it and more black interior parts, i found a 97 sport 2 door with dohc and all black interior for a grand with a rod knock. So im parting out the 96!

In a couple of weeks the new engine will be in, nos will be hook up in the trunk, with the battier, and MSD should be hook up anyday now. Still waiting on more parts!

well got bored and did some more work. Think this summer will be turbo and body next year. I also got suicide door kit this week. Will take pics when it comes in!

well sanded down my dash and added some small strain fibergalss. Also wanted to mold the air bag delete into the dash. Didn't like the way it lined up. So here are some pics. I know have tons of sanding to do. But should hit it today with some 120 and maybe start filling in the low spots as well.

Well put my a-pillar in to see how it looks. Need to hit it with some 220 and some spot putty. It will be finish this week :D Also took my intake off :huh: So it can be sent a way for a box style intake. Love it that i know people. Depends on how it turns out i can get them made for around 300 to 350.

Well after 2 coats of long strain fiberglass, 1 coat of small strain fiberglass, 1 coat of bondo, and to small coats of spot puddy the a-pillar is done. :D And may i say tons of sanding :angry: But it sure looks nice. I also did some more work on my dash, almost ready to b painted as well. I got SEM paint so it looks like factory. Can't wait for the dash to get done!!!!!

Change my grey headliner to black suede, trunk as well, and start with my custom amp racks and sub box. Which wont be done for sure but a good start. Next project is the trunk and spare tire cover. Going with the raise letter idea, hope it works out. Doing it all in suede and fibergalssing my amps and sub in the side of the car. The M in the spare tire will have glass with blue leds under it.

Wont start that till sunday for the nice day. Going to go from the two body lines and make a mold of it and cut my spare 1 gen sohc hood and mold it on and have it so it works lol :shock:

Yeah i'm not a huge neon guy but you did an awesome job. I think the gauge pods could use a little refining around the back of the gauges, but with the pain on they look stellar. Nice work!

Well got the headliner up and the clips painted black to match. Trying to find out how to tear a part the sunvisors to match them as well. Got the rear 6x9 cover wraped as well. Put on my rear bodykit bumper today as well. Didn't do much bc of the rain we had today. But will make up for it tomorrow.

Well the car is goign to be shaved everything, wing, 3rd break light,all key holes door handles, and ant. Im going to paint the car tangerine orange. I just picked up rear disk breaks for it, and my intake is almost done being made. 7" runners for more low end torque.Its a box style with a 60mm tb. 7 plus stock, 2 on pillar, 2 around cluster and 3 on dash. They are boost,nos pres, fuel pres, wideband, oil temp, oil pres, water temp. Guess you can never have too many gauges. Glad you guys like it. Got some more things coming in , and talks of a new turbo setup. Will keep you posted. Got my hinges for my hood to tilt forward. Car is going to look good when down :D :eyebrows:

yes i painted and no im not a dealer, im a student that works for gm. Car is moving slow. New engine goes in this weekend. Then body- work. Shaved everything!!!!
