well got rear-ended so i had to paint the r/t. i changed the side moldings to a black stripe instead of red and painted on a custom pin-stripe.

Looks Sweet! Isn't that the one that you got off of Cindy, last summer? If I remember correctly, Cindy had pretty well redone all the mechanials on that car. Should be a great car now. The Omni looks nice also.

yea this is the car i got off cindy in oct. Thanks for all the comments. I plan on pulling the engine here in a month or so to go through it. The clutch is shot and it leaks every fluid that the car holds. head gasket is about blown out also. so i plan on just cleaning it up adding a front mount and maybe some alky injection. I plan on ordering a trim cal for the omni and spirit.

anyway thanks for the comments, keep em coming.

You have a booth or just use your garage?

just a 1 stall garage is where the magic takes place.

It's what you do with what you've got that makes the magic:thumb: I'm thinking you do some color sanding after your paint jobs;) I've painted a few mototrcycles in my garage and even after the whole place is blown out and wet down, the little bits of fuzzys still find their way onto the painted parts:o Not brave enogh to do a whole car yet...

I likey your custom graphics:thumb:

sniffle, sniffle :mecry: ......The car looks great, I'm so happy it went to a good home. I loved that car......but too many cars and not enough driver's...... it needed a new home.

I didn't do all the mechanicals. The original motor busted a rod then cracked the block. I replaced it with a stock motor and trans that Cliff Ramsdell had freshened up. We then drove the car sparingly, like to run shop errands etc...It wasn't pristine when I sold it to Jeff, but I have seen the work and devotion both he and his brother put into their TD's so I was happy to sell it to him. I knew that he would bring it back to it's former glory.
Keep up the good work!!!! :thumb:

Cindy,
whats the deal with the sunroof on that car? Was that a factory option or what?!

You will still get a little dirt in the paint in a paint booth,my dad sprayed my rampage when it was painted in a booth and the bake cycle at the end make the clear look great.

the sun roof was installed at the dealership before the car was ever purchased. It is NOT factory but a dealer option.

I redid my spirit and tok all the stickers off(plain sleeper), even filled in the 2 holes in the trunk where the penastar was and took off the side moldings and shaved the antena. I'll tell you one thing that makes mine look way better is blacking out the tail lights, also paint the crome trim black, looks much better

Oh, that's so sweet..... but I've been known to wonder off and lose my party so don't be suprised if you park your car at Walmart and you find it 2 hours later at Starbucks :)

Again, I really loved that car, so I feel so relieved that it went to a good home and to someone that brought it back to the grand form it deserved. I hope to see at the Modern Mopar Nationals in Topeka this summer.
Later,
Cindy
