I know it can be done, but with what bearings? I want to use Chris Wright's new rods in my 2.4L. I have SRT-4 Eagle rods in my 2.5L with resized pin bushing and srt rod bearings. So I figured that I could use TII style rods with TII rod bushings and a different pin bushing.
Does that work?

Pretty funny, I was thinking the same thing about a week ago. Bob Stockum's page has all the info on using 2.5 rods in a 2.4, but doesn't list what bearing is used, but I believe that he uses a set of clevite 2.5 bearings.

yep the bearings match the rod you use
TD rods use TD rod bearings or
2.4/SRT Rods use 2.4 bearings
I think that would be a great idea/option and have TU put it on there website
